RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT
Dana started in the industry in 2009 as a media planner. Over the past ten years she worked her way up to supervisor and strategic lead levels at two leading media agencies, and has had firsthand experience learning each step of the job on her journey. In 2019, she began consulting as an independent media professional for SMMG.
Across her career Dana has held a number of job functions including media buying and negotiating, client and supplier-partner invoicing, production and creative management, program implementation, schedule optimization, and metrics reporting. In her most recent position, she was at the forefront of strategic and tactical planning with her clients, assisting pharmaceutical partners with brainstorming ways to best achieve their goals.
Dana has had the opportunity to work in a variety of specialty areas, including oncology, hematology, dermatology, cardiology, transplantation, primary care, pediatrics, optometry, and ophthalmology, with her longest experience within neurology. She has worked with both LOE brands, as well as those recently approved, such as her supervision in the launch of a first-in-class psoriasis treatment, overseeing a multi-agency partner team with multiple active campaigns including branded and unbranded promotions.
Dana has had the unique chance to work on two rare disease drugs, one in oncology and one in neurology. She was honored to work on campaigns for medications that have a direct and valuable impact on a small but extremely important group of patients. She enjoys finding niche opportunities to fit the needs of these distinctive and inspiring brands, and connecting them with validated and innovative ways to advertise.
Dana graduated from Quinnipiac University where she studied Health Sciences and PR/Communications.
