The fearless girl statue continues to change and evolve with the world around her. Like her predecessor The Little Fourteen-Year-Old Dancer by Degas, the impressionist painter of dance and movement excelled in capturing the fluidity of women.
The Little Dancer was met with harsh criticism when introduced to the world but is now a revered statue that has come to symbolize not only the beauty of ballerinas, but perseverance, tenacity, grit and strength.
The fearless girl statue has worn a mask during the global pandemic, adorned a lace collar to honor the late great Justice Ruth Ginsberg, and today she stands tall surrounded by broken glass with a plaque that reads “Today’s broken glass ceilings are tomorrow’s steppingstones”. Our world is constantly changing, women continue to raise the bar and adapt to the world around them working towards a better tomorrow.
Cleveland Clinic and Audience Synergy are proud to contribute to a more equitable future and entrusting their representation to a female entrepreneur.
SMMG will continue to move with the times and persevere with tenacity and strength. Join us in celebrating women throughout the world. We are proud to be a part of the movement that is shattering the glass ceiling for young talent to have no boundaries.
